Turkish Ministry of Justice Opens Recruitment for 15,000 New Employees
The Turkish Ministry of Justice has announced the recruitment of 15,000 new employees across various departments, including courts, enforcement offices, and correctional institutions, under official employment contracts.
Turkish Justice Minister Yılmaz Tunç said in a statement that the recruitment drive will cover a wide range of positions, including administrative, technical, and service-related roles within Turkey’s justice system.
The new hires will be distributed across several key sectors. A total of 8,000 employees will be assigned to courts, 6,100 will join the General Directorate of Prisons and Detention Centers, and 900 enforcement clerks will be appointed to enforcement offices across the country.
The minister added that full details of the recruitment announcement would be officially published on June 6 in the Official Gazette and on the ministry’s website.
According to the statement, the Ministry of Justice aims to achieve several key objectives through this recruitment campaign, including:
Reducing pressure on courts and enforcement offices.
Speeding up judicial procedures.
Improving the quality of services provided to citizens.
Filling staffing shortages in courts and prisons.
Enhancing digital and administrative infrastructure within the justice system.
Officials noted that Turkey’s judicial system continues to expand, making the recruitment of new personnel essential to maintaining efficient operations.
The recruitment plan covers a broad range of positions, including:
Court Clerk (Zabıt Katibi)
Enforcement and Protection Officer (İnfaz ve Koruma Memuru)
Support and service staff
Security and guard personnel
Administrative and secretarial staff
Technicians and technical specialists
Healthcare professionals, including nurses in certain units
Psychologists and social workers
Application Requirements
Applicants must meet several conditions, including:
Holding the educational qualifications required for the position.
Achieving a qualifying score in the KPSS examination.
Meeting health and security clearance requirements.
Having no criminal record.
Successfully passing interviews or practical exams for certain positions.
Applications are expected to be submitted through Turkey’s official government recruitment platforms, including the Kariyer Kapısı portal. Some positions, particularly those related to correctional facilities, may also accept applications directly through the Ministry of Justice’s online systems.
