Finding a geological composition that resembles the ark of Noah in Türkiye
Archaeologists in Türkiye have found a hill that resembles the Noah Ark, located 30 km south of Ararat Mountain in Türkiye.
It is noteworthy that this geological composition known as the formation (Dorubinar) is about 164 meters long, which corresponds to the biblical description.
Since 2021, an international team of scientists, including experts from the University of Technology in Istanbul, the University of "Agri Ibrahim Chichn" and the American "Andrews" University, began studying this site.
For 4 years, the researchers collected about 30 samples of rocks and soil. The analysis showed the presence of clay materials, marine deposits, and residue of marine creatures such as mollusks.
This data indicates that this area may have been submerged in water about 5,000 years ago, and that the composition was present in the water.
Professor Farouk Kaya, Vice President of the University of "Agri Ibrahim Chichn", said:
Although the dimensions of the formation are identical to the biblical description and the discovered materials, scientists confirm that there is no conclusive evidence yet to prove that "Durbinar" is the ark of Noah. More research and excavations are needed to confirm this hypothesis.
