European Union Announces Grant Program for New Business Projects in Turkey
The European Union has announced the opening of applications for the Entrepreneurship Grant Program under the EU-funded ENHANCER PRO project.
The grant aims to support the establishment of new businesses in Turkey, create job opportunities, and promote economic integration.
According to official information, the program has a total budget of €3 million, while funding for each approved project can reach up to €30,000, depending on the evaluation of the business plan and fulfillment of the required conditions.
The program is being implemented by the International Centre for Migration Policy Development in cooperation with the Turkish Ministry of Industry and Technology and the General Directorate of Development Agencies, with funding provided by the European Union.
Official program documents state that the following groups are eligible to apply:
Turkish citizens.
Arabs under Temporary Protection (Kimlik holders).
Individuals under International Protection.
The grant can be used to cover a wide range of startup-related expenses, including:
Company registration and legal fees.
Purchase of equipment and machinery.
Office or shop rental costs.
Salaries and operational expenses.
Accounting and financial services.
Marketing and branding activities.
Certain administrative costs related to the project.
Applicants must have a genuine and viable business idea and must be directly responsible for managing and implementing the project. They are also required to submit a business plan outlining the operational model, sustainability strategy, and growth potential of the project.
The program covers several Turkish provinces with large populations of Syrian residents and entrepreneurs, including Istanbul, Ankara, Izmir, Bursa, Adana, Gaziantep, Adıyaman, Hatay, Şanlıurfa, and Mersin, along with other provinces included in the project.
Applications officially opened on April 9, 2026, and will remain open until June 19, 2026.
