Turkish Airlines has announced that it’s suspending flights to most Middle Eastern countries due to the ongoing tensions and confrontations between Iran, the United States, and Israel.
The company’s head of media relations, Yahya Üstün, said in a post on the Turkish platform “In Social” that flights have been suspended to Qatar, Kuwait, Bahrain, the United Arab Emirates, and Oman.
Flights have also been canceled until March 2, 2026, to Syria, Iraq, Jordan, Lebanon, and Iran.
Üstün explained that the decision was made after several countries closed their airspace following the exchange of attacks between Iran on one side and the United States and Israel on the other.
He also warned that more flights could be canceled and advised passengers to keep checking the airline’s official website for the latest updates.
