Coca-Cola has revealed a 7.5% decrease in its revenue in Türkiye during 2024, due to the ongoing boycott campaigns following its support of the genocide carried out by the Israeli occupation in Gaza.
The company’s CEO, Karim Yahya, stated that the company is facing economic and geopolitical challenges and is working on recovery.
He revealed that the company’s global sales dropped by 5.6%, and by 7.5% in Türkiye during 2024, noting that the company is reevaluating its business strategies in the markets affected by the boycott, with a focus on regaining consumer trust and balancing its financial performance.
Yahya explained that the company is considering a range of actions to strengthen its position in the affected markets, without providing specific details about its future plans to handle the crisis.
