Türkiye continues to solidify its position as a leading global exporting power, driven not only by the superior quality of its raw materials and products but also by highly competitive pricing and efficient packaging and shipping operations.

The export sector is a fundamental pillar of the Turkish economy, distinguished by its immense diversity, encompassing everything from advanced machinery and electronic devices to energy products, toys, household goods, textiles, and even pharmaceuticals and cleaning products.

In this report, we highlight the top Turkish products expected to dominate export lists in 2025, shedding light on promising sectors and key importing markets, based on strong performance in recent years and future projections.

Top 10 Leading Turkish Export Sectors (2025 Outlook)

Türkiye's automotive industry remains a cornerstone of its economy, showing continuous growth and innovation. By 2025, the country is set to maintain its status as a major production and export hub for various vehicle types. Based on past performance, passenger cars are expected to continue leading exports, having previously constituted 64% of total automotive exports. This is followed by freight vehicles at approximately 14%, and buses and minibuses at 11%. These figures reflect the sector's flexibility and capacity to meet rising global demand, bolstered by investments in new technologies and electric vehicles.

2. Textiles and Ready-to-Wear Apparel

Türkiye boasts an excellent global reputation in the textiles and ready-to-wear apparel sector, skillfully combining high quality, premium materials, and contemporary designs that align with the latest global fashion trends. By 2025, Türkiye is projected to strengthen its presence in global markets, with ready-to-wear apparel accounting for a significant percentage of total manufactured exports. Countries like Morocco, alongside European, American, and Middle Eastern markets, remain key destinations for these products.

3. Electrical Appliances and Electronics

Türkiye's electrical appliances and electronics industry is a vital and thriving sector. Thanks to high quality and competitive prices, demand for Turkish products is increasing in global markets, particularly in the Arab region and Europe. Based on export figures that reached $1.567 billion in the first half of 2022, significant growth is expected in exports of home appliances, televisions, and smart devices by 2025. Turkish brands like Arçelik, Beko, Fakir, and Vestel continue to lead the way.

By 2025, Turkish olives are expected to continue leading exports, driven by increasing demand for healthy products. With past revenues reaching approximately $124.6 million from olive oil exports, Spain and the USA are among the top importing markets. Revenues are anticipated to surpass previous records, fueled by growing health consciousness.

5. Hazelnuts and Pistachios
